This is worth looking at if only for entertainment purposes. The site basically lets you zoom into the scene more and more, there is a bar at the top of the page that lets you change the speed and direction (it also lets you zoom out)
This site is from The most Fascinating websites ever I dont know If all the examples are what I would call Fascinating (the official Jimmy Carey site would be good to look at for a bad example to critically evaluate) but its worth taking a look at.
